VULCAN I FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL
The Vulcan I Fire Alarm Control Panel is an F.M. Approved low voltage panel designed
for use in local, auxiliary, remote station or proprietary signaling systems. Some of the
Vulcan I's more prominent features include:
Class A or B operation
Expansion capability up to 13 Class A or 26 Class B zones
Two Class B bell circuits standard; one Class A bell circuit optional
Form C auxiliary alarm and trouble contacts
Lamp Test, Alarm Test, Trouble Silence, Alarm Silence, and Reset Switches
Power, Panel Trouble, Ground Fault LEDs and Alarm and Trouble LEDs for each
zone
Built-in transient protection

Vulcan I Fire Alarm Control Panel. It converts one Class B bell circuit
into a Class A bell circuit. (Two modules required to convert both Class
B bell circuits to Class A circuits.) |

Vulcan I Drill Switch. This switch can be held in the DRILL position to
turn on the indicating appliances on the circuit without placing the
control panel in the alarm condition. |

Vulcan I HVAC Disconnect Switch. This switch is used to prevent
shutdown of air handling systems, exhaust fans, door and elevator
controls, etc. during control panel testing or maintenance. While the
signaling circuit is disconnected, a panel trouble condition exists. |

Vulcan I BT2 Transmitter Disconnect Switch. This switch is used to
prevent transmission of alarms and troubles to the D-700/D-500 Plus
during control panel testing or maintenance. A panel trouble exists while
the loop is disconnected. |
