We have used others that are very nice, but none have compared. We provide the Snap-On at our cost, and mount them to ensure fit and performance. The Work Center Pit Cart is ready for tools when you receive it. Facing the work side of the Work Center, the Snap-On tool chests are centered within the steel rectangular tube chassis, on the right is a large lockable storage bin with two custom shelves below that will hold cans of fluids and refreshments. Moving to the Storage End of the Work Center. is located another seven drawer Snap-On chest to hold items that are not used frequently, i.e. carburetor items, tire airing and marking items, First Aid kit, spare electrical items, shock parts, etc. Below the chest is a race car jack holder that will hold two jacks and four completely assembled shock absorbers. Around the Work Center to the Back Side. is the aluminum ladder on the left, which provides easy access to the diamond plated spotting deck on top of the Pit Cart. There is a row of stacked storage compartments next to the ladder. In the center of the back side are two more larger storage areas above and below the area reserved for the nitrogen tanks. These larger storage areas will hold jack stands, tire measuring devices, additional spare parts, a portable air tank and other items needing between 15" to 30" clear width for storage. To the left of these storage areas is the nitrogen regulator valve area, with continued storage area for the nitrogen tanks below. The nitrogen storage tanks slide into the cart from the Front/Tow End of the cart. The doors to the nitrogen bottle storage area is also made from bright diamond plate with flush door latches. Moving to the Front or Tow End of the Work Center. on the left is the entrance to the storage compartments for the nitrogen tanks and on the right is the compartment for the two automatic hose reels. The tow handle with tie-rod steering linkage also has a storage position so that it is not in the way during Work Center use. An aluminum railing around the spotting deck is designed to be installed and removed quickly when the Work Center cart is moved into the Featherlite Trailer, providing a convenient one person operation for a safety feature that is often left off of pit carts. The construction of the Work Center Pit Cart. is of the highest craftsmanship...mitered corners, all joints are fully welded, tig welded high alloy aluminum cabinet framework, tig welded 2x4 steel tubing chassis, powder coated interior and exterior, and premium fastners used throughout.
