When either of the two buttons on the transmitter is pressed, a signal is transmitted to the receiver and sent to the Central Receiving System. The receiver can accept transmissions from up to 700 feet away using a wire lead antenna with a capacity of 32 transmitters. Information relevant to the situation displays at the Central Receiving System. Outputs are Form C relays and are field selectable for different modes of operation: Momentary, 4 second (factory set) Momentary, 1 second Flip-flop or toggle action Single-channel latch Steady illumination of the multi-function LED indicates that the receiver is in the "transmitter learn" mode. Flashing verifies the number of transmitters loaded in to the selected channel of the receiver and also indicates RF activity. The LED on the transmitter can easily be seen from above by the person wearing the transmitter and provides test/operate indication. The two lithium batteries included are easy to replace and have an expected life of five years under normal operation of 10 one-second transmissions per day.
