D-21 Central Receiving Class
DESCRIPTION: The D-21 is a sophisticated, WIndows® -based Central Receiving and Management System that is compatible with the D-700 and D-500 transceivers. The D-21 uses client/server architecture and consists of two client programs: the D-21 Administration Client and the D-21 Incident Client. The D-21 Incident Client is used by operators to process incidents and dispatch resources.
The D-21 Central Receiving Class provides hands-on experience setting up the D-21 using the Admin Client and handling incidents using the D-21 Incident Client - from responding to an alert, creating an incident, dispatching resources to handle the incident and working with the D-21 to provide information needed to expedite incident resolution.
Operators also learn how to use the daily activity functions, view status information and response plans, dispatch resources, interact with ESRI map of a base and much more.
